Welcome to the South Coogee Saints. The South Coogee Junior Football Club (SCJFC) was established in 1972 and fielded it's first team at the Russell road oval. Later relocating to the current home ground at Santich Park (Home of the Saints), the Club has a strong Auskick group and teams from Year 3 through to Year 12.
Established in 1972, South Coogee is one of the oldest Football Clubs in the district and currently has approximately 550 boys & girls from pre-primary to Y12 playing football each year. As a Junior Football club, the Club aims to promote, advance, foster and cultivate the game of football.
The Club's volunteers strive to assist in the educational advancement of the local community by encouraging the development of a sense of fair play and a love of football. The committee, coaches and team managers are committed to the education, coaching and encouragement of club participants so that all members have the opportunity to reach their maximum potential.
South Coogee Junior Football Club has been recognised by the Western Australian Football Commission and the South Fremantle Football Club as a strong club that has produced several AFL stars such as Glen Jakovich (West Coast Eagles), Clint Jones (St Kilda), and Jacob Surjan (Port Adelaide), as well as many WAFL players including 2018/19 WAFL premiership player Ben Sokol.
In 2022 the club celebrated it's 50th year of Australian Rules Football within the Coogee community and wider City of Cockburn. The club would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank it's volunteers and sponsors, whom without their support and dedication the club would not have enjoyed the success it has today.
