KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $500 per financial year towards club fees, essential uniforms and equipment.
To be eligible to receive KidSport, children must be listed on a valid Western Australian Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with a corresponding customer reference number (CRN).
South Coogee is an approved Kidsport Club, allowing eligible families to take advantage of this great initiative. KidSport applications are assessed by the local government in which the child resides or by the KidSport team at DLGSC.
If an application is approved, the KidSport team will email you a voucher (unique to the child). The voucher code needs to be provided to your KidSport Club when registering. Vouchers can be used as payment for registration, membership or participation fees. Where the KidSport Club has opted in, vouchers can also be used for essential uniform and equipment costs.
All vouchers are valid for 90 days. Click here to apply.
Players wishing to transfer from a previous club to South Coogee are able to do so once the Transfer period opens on 1st February 2025.
To initiate a transfer, please email scjfc.registrar@gmail.com with your child's full name, Date of Birth & club they are transferring from. South Coogee will then initiate the transfer process.
Once the transfer is complete, which may take up to 2 weeks, you will receive an email from PlayHQ advising that you can now complete your child's registration.
Auskick 2.0 is a specially designed entry level program for kids in Pre-Primary through to Year 2 who want to play Australian Rules Football. It allows all players to learn the skills of footy in a fun and friendly environment.
Teams are formed in school age groups and are a combination of male and female participants. Where an age group has enough female participants an all-girls team will be created.
Because the emphasis in Auskick is on fun and skill development gender is not a barrier to participation.
Auskick fees for the 2025 season are $170.00 and include the $16.50 (West Australian Football Commission Player Levy) training, insurance fees, end of year trophy, team photo and of course the fantastic NAB AFL Auskick pack, full of awesome goodies including your very own footy!
Auskick sessions are held every Sunday morning at Santich Park between 9.00am and 10.30am.

The club is thrilled to be able to welcome new and returning players to an exciting 2025 season. South Coogee prides itself on striving to keep its junior teams together, acknowledging the important friendships that develop over our player's journey. However, there are often changes in AFL requirements (team sizes) and player movements that impact on player placements.
To ensure fairness, preference will be given to past players, and placements will be made on a first registered, best-placed basis. This approach helps us create a transparent and balanced experience for everyone.
A range of payment options are available through Play HQ, including PayPal Pay in 4. Should you require further assistance or wish to explore a payment plan please contact the Registrar on scjfc.registrar@gmail.com
Players must be fully financial before they are eligible to play in the 2025 season.
